Couple noises....normal?

My '11 only has about 2K miles on it, but I noticed a couple noises that may or may not be normal. Ill try to get audio clips of them tomorrow when its daylight and Im driving.

Noise 1: with the car idling, its almost like a "whine". It seems to go with RPM, and happens with the car in park or neutral. it might be there during drive but I cant hear it. Id describe it as a very toned down turbo whine (no, I dont have turbos ).

Noise 2: under decent acceleration, around the time when the variable timing kicks in (3500 to 4K RPM) it almost sounds like the engine gets a little "tinnier"....kind of like tappet noise. Still takes off like a bat out of hell. That one is hard to tell because so much is going on at that point, exhaust noise, acceleration, etc.

Im probably destined for a trip to the dealer, but figured Id ask here first. Again the car runs just fine, so Im not overly worried about it.

Noise 1: I have this too, as does our '08 G35x at idle.. it does, in fact, sound like a turbo whine. Very normal.

Noise 2: I have this too -- for a while I thought it was because there was a plastic cover plate loose in the engine bay or something, or something in the center console that was tinny and rattling.. but this is normal.. normal engine sound.

It all seems normal. That's why a G would normally sound like.
