Would you rather install GTM TT on G37x or buy S4?

Greetings:

I am planning on install GTM TT kit on my 2009, 23,000 miles, AT, G37x, no factory option, $800 after market remote start and alarm Viper 5901, $3100 3M paint protection the entire car with exception the roof, white LEDs lighting interior and some exterior. I believe that the kit and installation is probably in the $17,000 range. Let assume that I trade in my car for around $25000 ~ $27000 and add $15,000 payment, I can finance the S4 AT Premium + with NAV, Quattro sport rear differential option MSRP $53,450. Would you rather install TT or buy S4?

Your comment is greatly appreciated.

No factory options... no sport... pass. I'd say keep it if it was a fully loaded sport, but its not, so get the S4. I love mine, although I still miss the G37 from time to time (because of the lower payments lol).

personally, i would get the S4 if I'm going to spend all that cash for the TT. G is a great car that handles well, but nothing like the S4. If you want to factor in the realibility issues and maintenance cost, the G might be better. What's more important to you?

S4 most definitely for me.. reason being that an AWD G can't handle the power of TT whereas a rwd g37 can. The S4 was purpose built with forced induction and all wheel drive and that's a proven recipe for that specific car. Also a bit off topic but you might want to consider a 335xi and a tune if its speed you want

if ur even thinking about getting another car u should just save some more money and get something else like the c63 amg, lexus is-f, or bmw m3..... for me those are the only plausible upgrades that are even worthwhile

IS-F...lol, theres a reason you don't see many of those on the street.

But it comes down to him obviously wanting/needing an AWD car, and for the price of a base C63/M3, he can get a loaded S4, and with $1500 tune, he'll walk M3's all day long. I'm not being S4 bias because I'd rather an M3 any day, but when someone needs AWD, theres no question that the B8 S4 is the best choice.

S4 for the win. You are crazy to spend all that money on a depreciating asset. And 22-23 for the G27 on trade-in, not 25 unless the Audi dealer is feeling extraordinarily charitable. He can go down to the regional auction and pick one up for 23k.

I was considering the same thing, and I have decided to go the S4 route most likely (maybe a slightly used M3). So, my vote is for the S4.... With a tune, and a few other minor mods, it is close the 400 AWHP/TQ.

Lol, I contemplated the same thing when I was getting some mods installed, they had boosted Vettes and Z's all over the place. I'd go with the S4, or you can get a AWD Kia and a M3 lease.

S4s are very nice, a blast to drive, superb interior and very classy look. Gs are also a nice, classy vehicle but even a TT G is still a notch or two below an S4 IMO.

Personally I'd do neither...but if I were forced to I'd TT the G.

To me, Audi's look like cars senior citizens should drive - with the exception of the R8. The G37 sedan is one of perhaps only three or four 4-door sedans that has styling that appeals to me.

Just saw the stats on the S4 compared to the 335i and it took the beamer out, nice. The only down side I see with the Audi is the exterior design looks dated to me. Up close it's nice with the LED lights and all but overall it's just bland. Inside the driver/passenger seats are sweet and interior looks great.

Good Luck!
