Would you rather install GTM TT on G37x or buy S4?

OP, one MAJOR thing that you forgot about going TT is the supporting mods that you have to install/ build even before you bolt on snails to your car. As your car is an X, first and foremost the differentials/ transfer cases are not built to handle the power that a TT generates. You have to find someone who can build it. Second, you need to upgrade your transmission as well at least with a valve body upgrade as again, the tranny isn't built to hold that much power.
However, if you do pull this off, I will give mad props to you but you have to know exactly what serious business you are getting into.
I know that it's too late to say this, but you were better off getting a 6MT or a Journey edition because they do not have to worry about these problems as much esp with not having to worry about the AWD differential.
With all that being said, I would just get a S4 and call it a day.

Not even close.... Look at the real numbers. Bone stock S4's are doing mid-4's 0-60 and high-12's in the quarter mile. A G37x with every bolt-on and a tune would do low 5's/mid-13's, and cost just as much or more in the end. Not to mention the S4 is available with a true manual or a far superior dual-clutch, and with only a tune it will completely blow the doors off a G37. I have a 6MT G37 with full bolt-on's and a tune, and I got slaughtered by a stock S4 (from a roll, standing start, you name it)....

The only place the G wins is cost/value. A G37x with normal options (premium and sport, no nav) is around $44k. An S4 with similar options (DSG, B&O, leather, no nav) is around $51k, but you get a faster, better handling car. The Audi has a transmission that is light years ahead of the G's, and the interior is more refined. I think that is $7k well spent....

That is what the S4 uses (3.0 supercharged-same as your A6). In the A6, A7, Q7, and next A5, it is just a de-tuned version of the same engine. By all accounts, the engine is 95%+ the same. Now, the current S5 uses a 4.2 V8, but that is not what the S4 uses (or the next S5)....
