19" Coupe Wheels on G37 Sedan?

I know this has been asked over and over again but I know nothing when it comes to tire sizes and wheels so If I buy a set of coupe 19s for my AWD Sedan do I need to change the stock tires or can I put them right on? I was thinking of picking up one of the used sets in the classified section with tires. So sick of my stock 17s and will do anything to get rid of them.

For a 19" setup w/ coupe wheels ideally a 245/40/19 front (or that size all around if you don't stagger) and a 285/35/19 rear will be closest to oem diameter and should be fine. A 245/40/19 275/35/19 is the next closest but might cause issues at high speed.

What are you guys using to calculate the +/- % number - overall diameter? I'm trying to figure this calculation out so I can find me a set of tires. I picked up a set of these wheels and are refinishing and powder coating at the moment. I need to get tires for them. I've never staggered and AWD car before so I'm not trying to blow anything up here.
Couldn't a 245/45-19 work for both front and rear? That size tire accepts wheel widths 7.5-9" wheels.... Let by inner noob come out here has this is not my best area of expertise. I was trying to avoid a real beefy tire like you guys have mentioned above (245 front, 285 rear).

Here's the calculator so you can mess w/ the numbers~

It's best to be within +/- 1% diameter difference w/ AWD or up to 3% RWD.

You could go 245s all around, but a 245/275 stagger is about the narrowest you can go out back and still be OK w/ AWD. The tire sizes need to be 245/40/19 & 275 or 285/35/19 though.

All is very well - trying to get my G where I want it. I got bored with the 18" wheels I had and got a set of the staggered coupe wheels for $200 from some incompetent individual locally I've sanded down all the rash and now they are being stripped and blasted, and will be coated Wheel Silver II sometime this week or next week.
Headlights will be getting tackled in the next few weeks to come - STi-R lenses, switchback signals, and LEDs for a projector shroud running light will be the move. Can't wait to start that.
Now only if TopSpeed will get their darn exhausts back in stock

Yeah I always liked the look of coupe 19s on sedans. Was shopping for winter tires and came across a great deal so I had to snag them. I was going to get these powder coated in a gunmetal but I'm going to experiment with some copper(ish) plasti-dip to see if i like the look.
