The progression of Blue Thunder ~ every car deserves a name :)

Well I figured rather than keep making multiple threads as my mods progress, I'll just keep them in one place.

First mod was tint on my all stock baby, along with a self made midnight grille:

Next came Tanabe NF210 springs, and some nasty looking 18's I picked up for cheap. These rims were HEAVY!

Then came some extra THUMP in the form of a JL audio high output w3:

Stillen Grounding kit and Gen 2. intakes:

Then I swapped the heavy monster rims for sport rims:

Next was the tinted taillights with Bats smoke overlays, and installed the Hotchkis sway bars and GT Spec Strut brace: (no pics of GT Spec or Hotchkis)

Then came some gunmetal sport 19's and real Midnight grille (the pearl black paint is AMAZING):

Then the GTR button modded by dieseldoug:

coming soon: DPE GT7 rims with Project Kics R40 lugs. I should pick them up tomorrow.

After that, I need to find time to install these parts I already have and take more pics:
Blue Bat GTR headlight overlays
OEM Front lip spoiler
OEM splash guards
Invidia Gemini Exhaust (waiting for me at home in AZ) ~ coming in July
Kinetix HFC's (waiting in AZ also) ~ in July

I'll be sure to post some dyno info on all performance mods. The nice thing about having the Gen 2 intakes is I can swap them to stock in about 20 minutes and get true baseline #'s so I can track each mod for gains

In the future:
Akebono BBK - this is a definite! had them on my '08 coupe and miss the feel of them
painted headlights / lens upgrade
black vinyl on chrome window trim (possibly)
rear spoiler or paint chrome trunk lip to body color
Swap to R2C or Gen 3. intake
Stillen Headers
UpRev tune

Keep an eye out for future pics, Dyno results, and be sure to check out my DIY grounding kit thread, it's easy and cheap!

Here's some teaser pics of the DPE's. They are 19 inch, 2-piece forged GT-7's and the color is matte liquid cinder. They came from DPE this color, but it actually looks like I color matched the rims to the car. It's close, but not exact, more gray, less blue. The lugs are Project Kics R40, and the tires are bridgestone RE050A. The guy only put 500 miles on the tires, they are brand new, and he threw in the lugs for free! He didn't know the offsets, but they are very tame in my opinion. I'll be adding 20mm spacers down the line to push them out a bit, but not crazy aggressive.

These pics will have to do until I get her washed and it's daytime.
