I went from car stereos to home theaters to modding the performance/look of my car. At this point, I have found I get the most enjoyment out of modding the car. I just found in my older age I wasn't getting the same enjoyment out of car stereos and my home theater. I guess I don't listen to them load enough for it to matter. My wife complains when I turn the home theater up, so there is not much point in upgrading. Most cars come with decent stereos (not great by any means) that I can live with. There are just so many things you can do to a car, it keeps it interesting.

 

I hear you. The sound from G37 [Bose] is not bad but yet again it isn't Mark Levinson sound system either.
