Am I crazy????
#34
I saw a program on TV about Fuel Refineries and after the fuel is refined it goes to these terminals where the Tankers fill up to distribute to the Stations. This terminal may belong to Exxon but there are trucks there filling up with fuel from Shell, Valero, Fina, Texaco...etc. They actually showed the trucks with Shell emblazoned on the side of the trailer filling up at a Exxon terminal. So when you see these BS commercials about Techron ,or any other additive for that matter it's all a flame job you don't know who actually refined the oil to make fuel for your car. Don't fall for my gas is better than your gas BS.
I have noticed that some Shell stations have a nozzle for each grade while others have only one. I am going to run myself down quite low one day just to see if the dedicated fuel hose has and efficiency impact.
