1. Why did you remove the back seat? Is that to feed up the adjustment extenders for the rear shocks? Presumably you would need to drill into the body to make that happen?

2. On the picture of the rear shock, I don't see side-facing adjustment *****. I was under the impression that the newer BC Racing rear shocks had adjustment ***** on the side as well so that you could still adjust the shock without taking the shock off if you choose to not run the extenders (which is what I would prefer as I don't want to drill through the car).

3. For those that have done the install, I understand that setting the height for the front is as simple as rotating the lower collar and lock ring. For the rear however, you need to adjust both the shock and the spring independently. Do you adjust them the same # of threads to effect a change in height? All of the install writeups I have seen seem to skip over adjusting the height of the rear.

4. If you are dropping by a smaller margin (I would be looking at around .75" to 1" tops on an x Sedan), many posts I have seen seem to indicate a camber kit is not required, is that common consensus?

Hmm i would go rear camber kit just incase. They are inexpensive to pick up so why not?

Thanks!
1) Removed the back seats so we can fit the extenders through. Yes we did have to drill.

2) Nope there are not side adjustment ***** on the BR from what i am aware of.

3) Yes you are correct.

4) Hmm even if it isn't required i would still pick one up. They are cheap to pick up around 140 to 160. If you do plan to go lower you would still be able to.

Does this mean that whenever you want to adjust the ride quality you will have to remove the rear deck lid in order to do so? If that is the case, then that is going to be a PIA IMO.

In any case, congrats on the fully adjustable way to roll. Coilovers are so much better then lowering springs for the simple fact that they ride so nice. It makes a huge difference when you have matching springs rates for the valving of the strut.

No i don't need to remove the deck lid to adjust anything. The extensions actually come out between the seats. Thanks man! I'm very happy with the ride

Great job! Did you measure to see how much of a drop you achieved?

Also, when you have time I think everyone would love to hear comments on ride quality - How much more planted/connected do the BC's feel versus stock and how much more punishing are they (if at all)?

I forgot the exact numbers, but drop in the front is 2.3 inches and rear is around 1.7 to 1.9.

Here's a quick review for you guys. I am at the harshest setting all around and it is very very rough, i do like it though (no homo). The car feels extremely planted on the floor and has little to no body roll through the corners now.

Thanks! I would say coilovers before wheels.

I am running KW V3's at the stiffest possible settings, like you said its rough but so planted, after doing so for about 2 months I don't even notice the roughness anymore until someone gets in and mentions it.

For anyone else who has bought BC coils recently, did the rear shocks have side adjustment *****? I know I have read that in a number of places and I would have assumed BC would only be selling the newer stock.
