Just to let you know you CAN'T repaint or repair the back up sensors. They must be replaced otherwise they screw with the sensor sensitivty and they will constantly go off. Don't cheap out on anything otherwise it'll be a big mess later on.

Sorry to hear. 2 weeks ago, I got our Honda Pilot fixed up after it said hello to some landscape stones when reversing.

I had a moron scratch my car in the SAME place as OP. I had left a TON of space on the sides of my car when parking, and somehow he managed to hit my car. I couldn't believe it.. obviously, he didn't leave a note.

Thanks for the support guys!
I just spoke to my neighbor who happen to be a NYC police officer. He told me to look at the INS code printed on the front of the police report. I looked up the code on Google and found the other party's insurance company:
DMV Insurance Codes and Company Contacts (code range): 401-420
Hope this information will be helpful to anyone else who encounter similar situation.

Finally Fixed After 2 Months!
Before:
After:
Knowing the other party's insurance (Country****) company has the WORST reputation in NYC area, my agent (also my friend) recommended me to her friend's body shop which handled all the paper work. All I had to do was sign and let them handle it on my behalf. After 2 months of going back and forth, a settlement check finally arrived at my mailbox. I immediately made an appointment and dropped off my car at the shop. I picked up the car 2 days later.

SUPPORT AUTHENTICITY!
Glad it was fixed, but why is the color of the car in the before/after picture different? Did you just repaint the whole car or am I seeing something wrong?

Only the damaged area was repainted. The color matched perfectly. Can't tell it was repainted just by looking at it. The fixed photo was taken under direct sunlight and hence look different than the before photo....just an illusion.

What really sucks is that while this surface damage can be repaired, and while there was no structural damage to the body or anything else, it will forever appear on your Carfax report as you vehicle having been involved in an accident. Unfortunately, potential buyers of your car will put way too much emphasis on the stupid Carfax, as we have all been brainwashed by this "service".
Good luck with the repair.
