Weaving in and out of traffic & lose it - catch loose debris on berm - Rain as we had when it happen - swerve to avoid something (animal, etc.)

There are a number of things that could have contributed.

I live not too far from there. Route 18 is not a highway but a rural 45mph road--I think in that stretch it is two lanes on each side. It did rain yesterday afternoon. Although there are accidents, I can't imagine a fatality on that road unless a driver was impaired in some way or engaging in reckless driving. A real shame. Drive safely out there folks!

How unfortunate! It really isn't fair for that 19 year old girl. 26 year old **** on the other hand, should have known better. But still...

His thread has really mad me think, and try to alter my sometimes jerk-*** driving behavior. I get very impatient with left-lane squatters, and by the time I can get past them, I am usually flooring it and doing crazy stuff. Need to chill out. I would hate to accidentally do something like that to some body. Gives me chills just thinking about the possibility.

Very sad......
I thought infinits were pretty survivable tho, even in that kind of crash. This **** scares me cus I drive on a two lane country road 30 miles each day to work. I drive pretty well no crazy ****, never look at my phone etc. Of course when I pass people I go above speed limit. .But around corners etc, there's always a chance that an animal, other driver etc will cause an accident. I even had a little close call during the winter going around a turn...

Still, the G it's a really stable car. My GF drives a TL Type-S and it's still pretty wobbly sometimes. The G accelerates fast so you can pass people quickly, and it corners well. I hardly ever see the traction control light even in bad weather, unless I'm purposefully trying to make it slip...

Where you live? I'm in Brunswick...

..that section was 55mph and yes 2 lanes each way with a turn in the middle.
