Trigger pulled: '11 XS
so, after much drooling over the coupe, I drove both, and went with an '11 XS sedan. This one from the show room:
had 3 miles on it, and was spotless. I'll post more picks if it ever stops farking raining.
Coupe was great, but this has what I want and need: AWD, comfort/seating, and performance. Coming from an '05 Z, it's a huge change.
I'm a nurse, and I work in the home, so I need to be absolutely certain I'm going to "make it". Since I live in PA, where the seasons are Almost Winter, Winter, Still Farking Winter, and Road Construction, it will really do me well.
Going to order the Gen 3 Intakes, get the windows tinted, and get some sways. Then going to pay it down a bunch before I do anything else (financed $20K). After I get it down by half, it will be December-ish, so I will save over the Winter for a drop (coils) and new shoes (something forged/concave... looking at YOU, Vossen!)
Is there a roof spoiler out yet? Opinions on that? Also, might swap out the break pads with some carbon-ceramics. Best ones for daily use? Will probably get the calipers painted at the same time. Black? Flat gray? No racing red or yellow. I don't want a tuner look. Maybe a real dark red?
Anyway, the wifey digs it, my patient thinks its "too nice" for me, and I am going to make my bro-in-law very jealous this Saturday night.
So, a wall-flower no more, officially part of the club!
