would you upgrade to an M37 if the deal was right?

Especially if you factor in the cost of maintenance....BMW gives four years of free maintenance; Infiniti gives you no free maintenance and oil change intervals every 3,750 miles. I'm not a huge BMW fan, but the cost of regular maintenance on an Infiniti should be factored into a buy decision.

The '11 M is a badass car, inside is very nice and makes the G interior look cheap. I would pick the M over the 5 series anyday - except the M5 lol
It really depends on your financial situation, and family size. just use your common sense and dont listen to people that say go with the 56x - that car is a entire different level and in the 70's optioned out. Insurance for the M is way more also, make sure you check your rates before biting off more than you can chew.

It is by far the cheapest paint I have ever run across. Ive owned lexus, audi, infiniti & mercedes and in the 4 months Ive owned this G I have had more rock chips, nicks, marks and all kinds of crap, more than any other car ever! Not to mention the rust issue coming through the paint, I have one spot on my fender and two on my hood. Im in the process of trying to figure out how to repaint the entire car a completely different color.
