The difference is, after 4 years you own the car and don't have to give it back. And thereafter... you're driving a car and BANKING $400 bucks.

There are pros and cons but it ultimately comes to how much one ends up paying considering depreciation and everything. Those values can be very similar depending on your car buying habits.

I bought my last G in 2004. Paid it off in 3 yrs and drove it for 3 years with no payment. Could have kept driving it, too... but they dangled this G37 in front of me every time I drove by... eventually, I took the bait.

Right, but that assumes you want to keep the car for more than 4 years. If you want to get a new car after 4 years then it seems like you might as well lease.

I enjoy getting a new car every three years and not worry about what may or may not be wrong with it once it goes back...i could buy it sure but id just be selling it after 3 years so no point in my opinion..just my 2 cents

You might be able to lease a G for $400 per month for four years, but you won't own a G37 paying $400 per month for four years unless you make a large down payment at least $15,000 to $20,000. That said, an old car is almost always cheaper to drive than a new car. Carried to an extreme, we could all save a ton of money if we drove ten year old corollas.......

Don't forget there is a mileage limit when you lease. I drive about 20K miles per year, so leasing is a no-go for me.

If you don't drive much and want to get a new car every 3 years, leasing is actually a great option.

I'm gonna say this post is BS, unless BLKG37X can post numbers and tell us what dealership can give this deal.

Actually hes right....I just signed my lease paperwork and theyare practically giving them away....0$ down plus tax title license and plate transfer fees which came out to $2400. I am paying 365$ a month for a fully loaded G37x sedan everything except sport package...great deal...I went to Kings Infiniti in Sheepshead Bay they are really hurting theres only 2-3 salesmen there on the weekdays and only 2 on the weekends...aside from the fact that the 2012's are coming in this week they cant be more happy than to get rid of these 2011's. But I took the last 2011 they had..

Yes, your deal is doable. He's saying $1000 out of pocket and $340 a month which is not possible.

Or.... you could've just asked

Legacy Infiniti
855 Sunrise Highway
Lynbrook, NY 11563

This is where I got my G a year ago. But the current deal is way better than the one I signed a year ago.

Not bad at all, but I think Legacy might've beaten it slightly, who knows.

Please read carefully. His is fully loaded with everything except sports, and the deal I'm referring to is the base model G37x with Premium only

What current deals are you referring to?. Legacy Infiniti? Really? Have you followed this thread:

A perfect example of bait-and-switch.

I went to Legacy Infiniti about 3 years ago before I got my CTS. I saw an ad in the paper for the g37 coupe and the deal was really great, I am not sure of the exact numbers but it was very cheap with no money down. Anyway I drove out there and when I got to the lot the guy told me how he just sold that one.... but has a better one for a bit more money....I knew it was B&S right away and I said no thank you and walked out....I worked for a company for 3 years that specialized in B&S and I hated my time there, seeing all those people get ripped off really screwed with my head. Not sure if Legacy still does B&S but when I went to them it was 100% scam

^ My point exactly. In the link I provided above the OP was offered a deal for $350 a month at Legacy, when he showed up the price went up to $440 a month. $90 a month difference.
