i wonder now the death toll is over 10,000 people.... how many of them worked on our Infiniti vehicles we are driving? do they need to train new people? when will they be able to go back to work....

it's still devastating watching the video of lost cities, lost roads, bridges, etc....

This is the latest information (actually few days old). No injuries have been reported.

NISSAN | Report following the earthquake in Northern Japan (report #3)

I imagine the production won't resume for a while due electricity shortage and damages to equipments, facilities and infrastructures.

A lot of the cars are white it seems. That's probably one of the most common colors.

we dont realize whats important in life until disaster strikes. if my family and i lived in Japan my g might as well be a matchbox car that i stepped on trying to save others and my family. my sympathies for the people of the Japan

from a car forum standpoint im wondering if this will delay the g37 redesign. i was curious to see what it would look like when it came out possibly the end of this year??

Just goes to show you: how precious life can be... You can worry about petty things like scratches in your car (G) and such, but this is truly disconcerning and my heart goes out to all of those people affected.

It won't be the same for a long, long time.... So much technology will be Affected, we don't realize that yet...It goes accross the entire spectrum of consumer goods around the world. The USA should RISE to the occassion and take charge as we are capable to do before China, Russia or Korea does.!!!

Regards to all on this forum.

These pics you guys are posting are incredible. Then watching the news and seeing the mass destruction and loss of life...it's all really depressing. As much as I try to imagine what the survivors in the hard hit areas are going through, I'm probably nowhere near imagining true reality. Radiation and weather exposure, lack of daily food and necessities, no utilities, mud and debris everywhere, aftershocks, etc...what a living nightmare. Big wakeup call for all of us. Appreciate that fluffy pillow every night you lay your head on it. As others have said, really puts things into perspective, doesn't it?

This is all informative to read... I wish our cell phone providers opened lines for free calls during Sept 11th, the massive earthquake in San Fransisco or Hurricane Katrina.
Does anyone know if Japan ever offered the United States any help during our tragic events? I sure don't remember them offering/giving anything, maybe I'm wrong though.

got great news today and all i can say is that we are fortunate it's very minimal amount of vehicles damaged, plants are perfect, and global output will be back on track as normal within a week...

lets still pray for the remaining people that lost their homes and family members out there....

how many members are on here? donate $10 bucks each and it's a lot of money to help feed and support the ones in need...
