I'm talking about the ones that are even $275 on ebay. What exactly makes them so special? I don't think they are that much more 'premium' but not sure.

they are $253 on Prime Parts Superstore, still crazy expensive for mats. i love that site, got a bunch of stuff from them, including the OEM rubber mats for $67.

Never been to Olive Branch but I'm familiar with where it is. Sure thing, just drop a PM and we can figure something out.

Funny thing is, from the pics and what my stock G mats look like, the "premium" G mats look closer to the stock mats from my Honda Accord and Acura TL, and even my old i30. Those stock mats were thick, plush type rather than the cheesy walmart-looking ones that come with the car stock.

It was one of very few things I was disappointed in on the G (quickly resolved by getting the OEM all season mats)

Infiniti G37 Convertible Premium Carpeted Floor Mats - eBay (item 360190744989 end time Mar-12-11 1246 PST)
I have them in my truck. They are leaps and bounds better than the stock mats - along with a stainless steel Infiniti name plate. I beleive they are berber. I think I paid like 250 for them from my selling dealer, list is like 325 or so I beleive. I got them because I wanted the one piece rear like what came in my G and my former FX. My Q came with two separate 2nd row mats and no Infiniti logos - must be due to initial supply shortage (07/10 delivery)

I also found it to be the only thing I was disappointed with with the car as well.

I hope they're not berber - that's the ghetto tightly wound poodle looking crap you see on the floors in doublewide trailers.

i had my car almost a year now and the drivers mat is trashed. i put in a thick rubber mat about 2 months ago because of all the snow but i was already too late. also i pumped gas sometime in the fall and got back in the car then noticed a splotch of grease on the mat about 2 inches across . i used solvent to get that pretty much out but that along with the snow and salt has done it in. it doesnt look that much better than the 8 yr old mat in my accord.
