G37 OEM Windshield Logo
Hi - Can anyone tell me what logo/marking was printed on your windsheild glass? I'm guessing some kind of Infiniti/Nissian marking would be printed on the windshield glass, but I saw "AGC Automotive" on the lower right of my 2011 G37's windsheild, does that mean the windsheild is not OEM and might have been replaced before the car was sold to me? Thanks!

Well AGS Automotive is a Tier 1 supplier of car parts, but I thought they did stuff like bumpers and floor pans; not glass. Plus they're located in Canada with 2 plants in the US. They don't have any Japanese operations and the G37 is built in Japan.
I know Nissan uses Carlite glass. I assume Infiniti does too.

A Tier 1 supplier is a company which supplies the manufacturer directly with components.
A Tier 2 supplier would be a company which provides parts to a Tier 1 company.
I'll check what it says on my windows in the morning. I don't really want to have to go downstairs and out into my garage right now (it's pretty cold). I have a 2009 so the suppliers may have changed since then.

By all windows, do you mean the windows from the doors as well? I just checked my side windows, they said "Nippon" on the lower right. Further more, I found the wording "Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" on the right side mirror, but it wasn't there on the left side mirror.....hmm

Upon further reading, I found out that the windshield glass is made by ASAHI GLASS CO LTD (DOT20), so I assume that's where the "AGC Automotive" comes from. Does anyone else have that windshield in their G37?
FWIW, here is a reference to the DOT code I found: Car Windshields - DOT Number Database

AGC is an OEM manufacturer. A brand new Nissan and/or Infiniti can come with AGC glass as well as Carlex glass and most often DOES NOT say Nissan/Infiniti on the windshield

I realize this thread is old as hell. I was just reading it out of curiosity, and the 1" ...crack circle? in my windshield. Something hit it pretty hard the other morning. I found a logo for Pilkington. Couldn't find a definite answer as to whether it is oem for Infiniti. Funny thing, I decided to look at the windshield on my wife's van, which was replaced by Safelite a couple years ago. And look at that, Pilkington. I guess mine was already replaced before I got it. It's a 2012 and I got it in 2015.
