The paint is holding up just fine, i check on it quite frequently, especially these days with so many projects in the works -- so much so i think i have the car practically on jack stands all weekend.

Ok, time for an update after over a year of having it installed. Still loving the sound, nice and quiet when cruising, but enough growl under acceleration. I get compliments on the sound and look quite a bit. Absolutely no drone, definitely a plus when I made a 1000 mile trip a while back. My paint is holding up great, only a few chips on the underside of the cans from what I guess were rocks picked up by the rear tires. No chips on the visible back of the cans. Tips need to be cleaned/polished so I'll probably take them off soon to do so.
Only gripe I have is with what I think is some metal on metal contact somewhere along the catback. Sounds like a rapid rattle or buzzing. I don't think it's a bad/shot resonator because I looked inside them when I had the y pipe(s) off to clean a plastic bag off and did a tap test with my palm. No loose metal found. I don't think it's rasp since it doesn't happen all the time and went away for a while after reinstalling the y pipe(s) after cleaning the plastic bag off and also after disconnecting the rear section when installing my sway bars. Plus all videos I've seen, and mine, don't have any rasp after Invidia added resonators and the updated X pipe. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Overall I would give it a 9/10. Excellent quality and price, great looks, but that rattle/buzz keeps it from being perfect.

I installed mine with only ramps. Wasn't too bad. Worst fasteners were the bolts at the cats.

Check the heat shields, it doesn't take much for them to bend and start rattling against the exhaust system. Mine did this after the install, i just got under there and pulled it back. You *might* be able to reach in and do the same without lifting the car up.
p.s. Had the painted-can Invidia's for 17 months now myself, nothing but good things.

Your install made my decision to paint mine.
