Nice wok

Painted cans look great.......keeping with the classy, yet sporty without the ricer look....I wish I would have thought of doing it. 8k miles and I'm really enjoying the invidia. I may paint mine. Let know how the paint holds up. I'm glad you were able to derive some help for the make-shift install guide. Take a look at my old post for all those who want to see neked cans. In the end.....Who doesn't like a nice set of cans? Invidia = built for comfort and speed...... You motor boating SOB..

Thanks, so far the paint is doing great after going through a wash and rain, but only time will tell.

I painted my FI last weekend with plastidip. So far it's holding up just fine.

I just couldn't stand the bling bling look from the back.

I only painted the cans. The cans don't get all that hot, plastidip I think can withstand up to 200 degrees of heat.

Lowes or Home Depot should have it.

Should be fine, I remember soundmike looking into can temps and I think he got around 150 F, so I think you'll be fine.

Thanks. The FI cans tuck in much better than the Invidia. If I had gone with FI, I wouldn't have painted them.

Drive by clips, did this forever ago, forgot to post it. Didn't turn out as good as I hoped. Maybe I'll do it again soon.

just a heads up for those interested in going the non-res tp route with invidias. it's a bit raspy, and there's quite a bit of drone at 2,000 revs. the culprit = the x pipe. it needs to be welded onto some hangers (in the process of finding someone to weld those suckers). the drone shakes the entire car unfortunately a little disappointed, but it was a bit expected with non-res test pipes. will be going with art pipes soon, or a different resonated setup.
