If you wanna talk crazy prices per gallon. I just passed by a 76 in Pasadena, CA that was $4.35/gal for premium. Oil will be at $100/barrel until this whole thing with Libya is resolved. And even if it's resolved soon, gas is usually higher in the summer, so I don't see it dropping significantly until August or so.

I doubt it'll drop too much even when this is all resolved. Once people get used to a higher price there's no incentive to drop it.

Normally yes, but remember a few years back when gas skyrocket over the summer and then dropped to about $1.20/gallon?

Not just that gas price sux but even the premium brand around where I live like shell is still using that 10% etheno crap and making me pay premium price for it. Wtf

4.35 a gallon i look forward to coming to LA tomorrow and paying 50 cents more for gas..

I feel like it was a rare example. Most socal places are going for around $4.15/gal for premium. It's just that nicer places (pasadena, bev. hills, etc) having much higher gas prices.

Expensive gas price make me drive slower! Paid $45 3/4 gas on monday n gas light turn on today. My school is 35 miles way!!

BP etc. has to make up for the gulf clean up costs +fines somehow. You guys don't think that all these events in the middle east are just random things that just happen, right?
