Gas Prices Suck!

Rising gas prices suck, but in the grand scheme of things a $0.50 rise in prices (from $3.50 to $4.00) is a $250 difference annually, or $20 a month. Spare a couple lattes essentially. In my opinion, my viewpoint won't change until I see gas go over $5.50/6.00 a gallon. Once they get there in Socal, then I'll start considering switching to a new DD.

I hate high gas prices like everyone else. One of my deciding factors in leasing rather than purchasing my G was a concern about gas prices and its possible effect on resale if increases occur. I hope my cautious nature is unwarranted....I really don't want a Prius for my next ride.

Yeah, it's painful how much gas our cars use (and premium no less).
Good thing my everyday commuter car is a Civic. That thing get 37 mpg (sometimes I get almost 40 mpg if I keep it pegged at 60 mph), but the driving experience is no where near what it is like driving the G. In fact, merging on to the freeway is downright scary in the Civic.

I just paid $72 to fill up my G last night. Not much I can do about the fuel prices, when gas was $5 a gallon I was filling up my TL every 3-4 days. That was rough. My commute now is 12 miles each way. So I fill up every 10-14 days. Not too bad.
Good thing we have a Honda Fit too. We may be driving that a lot more.

64.95 for my last fill up and that number has steadily risen. I guess this will be another summer like the summer of 08. I was paying close to 90 dollars a fill up in my Maxima which has the same size tank as the G. And I have a 44 mile commute for work. SMH

I just don't think we will see a big affect with these cars compare to the V6 in the economy lines like the Nissan, Toyota, Honda or Chevy and SUVs b/c they have the option to downgrade. If you wan a performance car, you need to pay more for the gas.

I'm paying 3.75 for V-Power at my local Shell Station. If my commute consisted mostly city driving, I would not own this car.
But on the HWY is not bad at all. Unless you are mainly stuck in bumper-to bumper traffic, which I don't encounter that often either.
