It will be interesting to see how the new G is going to look.

Altima too. That car also came out in 2007 and was updated for 2010. Now the 2011 Altimas are running around with "Special Edition" badges on them...same as they did in 2006 before the next gen debuted for 2007.
If you are making the point that the G is long in the tooth, I cannot deny that, so is the 3 series. If you are claiming the G's evolution and timing has nothing to do with the 3 series, then we can agree to disagree although the evidence out there would suggest I am closer to the truth.

That is a nice evolution. Keeping the best parts of the current design and adding in the best parts of the new design language. Better implementation of the new design language than the M.

Looks a bit too similar to the current Genesis coupe for my taste.

To me, it's too similar to the current one to be the next redesigned G.

The G in North America wouldn't exist they way it does if it weren't for the 3 series.

I think Infiniti is going to make a much more refined car that will probably cost a little more.

I really hope the next car is a real new model with a rear seat fold down and a good DCT so the wife and I can both be happy. She wasn't thrilled that I got the 6mt.
I think 2010 was the perfect year to buy a G. The kinks were worked out, the a/v screen was upgraded with the higher resolution, and the interior trim was upgraded.

The 2011 and 2012 (if it's the same as the 2011) is too close to the next generation for me. I likee to enjoy my car a bit while it's still fresh on the road, but I don't like first year models because they ALWAYS have the most issues.

G35x sedan '07 (12/2006 actually) - no issues at all at this time! And very happy about long-living V36 platform!
