I want to have my Ob G detailed to remove all traces of the winter damage and remove all the swirls in general. However, I really don't want to have the rotary buffer marks that you can see at certain angles afterwards. Can anyone recommend a good detail shop that will not leave those marks? I live in Brooklyn NY

Just hand washed my car the other day when the weather was warm. The car is clean overall, but I noticed new swirl marks at certain angles in the sun. I try to take good care of the paint, but this is terrible. The paint on the GM cars I've had took a beating in the winter, but always washed to a shine.

If not I'll be hand washing my car 5 times a week. No way. I've pretty much given up on keeping my paint imperfection free. I will NEVER get a black car again.
lol that's what i said the last time! somehow i ended up with yet another black car.

When I lived in Chicago, I only sprayed my car down in the winter months. Once in a while I'd go to a nice car wash that wouldn't scratch. Fields Infiniti is nice but their car wash sucks.

There's just no point, the car will get dirt right away from salt dust and muddy snow.
