Scratched...really?
today after a quick bike ride i rolled my bike into the garage and ALMOST leaned it against the G37, but before the bike and car touched, a voice inside said, "Don't do it!" so i pulled it back and the bike pedal slightly contacted the driver door. i was shocked when i saw 2 horizontal scratches about a half inch in length. I'm so pissed(at myself or the car?)! My eyeballs are more scratch resistant! now i have to figure out how to remove these scratches before my wife kills me. Ugghh, we've only had the car for 8 months. any tips on how to remove the scratches? they are shallow but i can definitely feel them, i swear the door feels like its made of out plastic!

Most anyone who responds to this is gonna ask for some pics man. Gotta see how bad the scratch is to diagnose the severity of the scratch and if your gonna need serious buffing or just some scratch X fixer upper.

What color is your car? Usually the rule of thumb is if you can drag your finger nail across the scratch and feel it, it's too deep to buff out....BUT..you can certainly make the scratches less noticable by buffing them as much as possible without going through the clear coat. Light colors will hide much easier than dark colors.
