G37 Sedan single exit exhaust
#4
Saw it on a coupe, and the look wasnt the best, but i loved the way it sounded. The guy had the greddy ti-c muffler with test pipes. Is there any exhaust that will make the sedan sound good? I mean most ive heard sound a bit louder then the coupe's oem? In that case might as well keep it stock lol

I think it would look good, if a rear bumper was made for the single side exhaust.
Dual exhaust is becoming over used for cars now days. Even cars that do not need dual exhaust, like a 4 cylinder S2000.
Nissan Skyline R34 and Toyota Supra TT produced more power than cars like the S2000 and only had single side exhaust.
Impreza and Lancer Evo have also switched from single sided to dual exit exhaust in their newer generation, while the engines are still pretty much the same.

Thanks guys for all the responses, and i was thinking of doing a single, the good thing about it is that Alex from Autokits told me he will make me a cf diffuser with only one opening. Will think about it and if done will post pics

Are all of you guys serious? LOL
...I was almost positive when reading this that the OP that he was going to get picked on a bit.. but a lot of you are for this? Really!? Also surprised on how many times "dual exhaust is over used" ??? LOL! ...like saying "putting four doors on a car is over used nowadays" "Overused" ???
Dual exhaust is what makes a car a real car to me! Although I have grown up around muscle cars and big blocks. Just thought the responses were surprising as all of the single exhaust cars I've ever had the thing to do would be put on duals. Now, people with dual exhaust are wanting single.. what's the world coming too?
(Please don't take this augmentative as I have been laughing while typing this )

Not sure why you wanna go single exhaust? Also, it will cost for the bumper & custom exhaust...
What are you trying to achieve with single exhaust that an aftermarket dual exhaust can't achieve? Looks?

Dual looks nice, but single is unique, all the sedan owners running the same exhaust, sounding like the G driving next to you. Why not be unique. Im sure single will do its job if i do get it done. Will let you guys know how it goes.

In some applications a single exhaust can be more efficient than a dual exhaust. I know a few Lexus GS430s have single custom exhausts as they were better than the factory dual.
