Hey if the lip was local, not a replica then I would have no problem buying them, but again, when shipping for a bumper, grill, and mirror housing from japan is 1900 I can not justify it.

I would love to know who gave you a quote for $1,900 for shipping. And what parts? PM me. I'll see if I can help you out...

(And I have not forgotten about your last PM. I'm actually working on that as I type this. I apologize it has taken so long...)

no problem, um I forget which website it was. I was looking at the Tommy Kaira front bumper, carbon grill and carbon mirrors. FedEx was 1938. I decided I did not like the look of the rear bumper of the Tommy Kaira kit so Ill go with a diffuser and call it a day for the back.

place i was looking was http://www.nengun.com/tommykaira/tom...line-sedan-v36

^^ I find it highly justifiable. If the quality is the same then what would the issue be? Just to say mine came from Japan itself. If buying more expensive parts (although not always better quality) makes you feel better about your car then go for. Just a lot of people don't see a point in spending more money for a very similar product then they can get for less. It would be like saying you should not have gotten an Infiniti g35 sedan, if you were a real baller you would have gotten a Nissan V35 Skyline imported from Japan. Or maybe instead of going a cheap route like eibach springs, you should have paid for a real drop on coils. Just saying. You are definitely entitled to your opinion but just like you justify why you will pay more others will justify why they pay less.

yes, but no company wants to make parts for this car because of the replicas the US companies make..... then they have them made in china..... why dont you go start pm'ing US companies to see how much it would cost to get a custom lip made, then you won't talk about japanese parts being too expensive. Challenge USA quoted me 6500 for a front lip...... 4500 of that is R&D not including the usage of a front bumper.

go buy some rota grids for ur car instead of volk te37's, please go do it. also dont have my car dropped on eibachs.... im waiting for JIC Magic or Blitz to finish their coilovers for this car(AWD)

You were able to post in it, so yes, it still opens.

Also, you need to re-read the first post and state exactly what you want.

Whatever happened to this group buy anyway? Did it go through, or just die out?
