Thumbs down An attempt to burglarize the G... Failed!!!

So last night at about 4 am my alarm goes off. I look out the window to see nothing so i brushed it off and went back to sleep. When i went out this morning to check, I see a brick laying next to the passenger door and residue from the brick on the passenger window. I also notice some scratches and chips on the window but thankfully we have windows made of steel or something because it didnt even crack. I see the G is on the most wanted list for thieves and vandals lately. Thankfully the alarm scared the a$$hole off. Keep a close watch on your car people and try to invest in an aftermarket alarm or an impact sensor for the factory alarm. Tried taking pics but just couldn't get a pic that would actually show the minimal amount of damage done.

Tried taking pics but the metallic tent makes the window look like a mirror through the camera making it hard to see the damage. Ill give it another shot though.

do you have a separate remote for your Viper or were you able to wire it to work with the original keyfob? if not, does that have any purpose now other to start the car?

Didn't know that. Nationwide or just where you live?
That won't help insurance rates any...

Doesn't the G37 sedan come standard with an engine immobilizer?

EDIT: I guess it depends what list you look at. No Infiniti's on many lists, but the 2008-9 Coupe is in the top 5 on a couple lists. No sedans on any list I found.

I do have a seperate remote for my viper but i don't use it. The factory keyfob and the buttons on the door can arm and disarm the alarm while locking and unlocking the doors. I use my phone to remote start.

Didnt really look at any list. Just judging from some of the recent threads i've been seeing in reference to vandalism and attempted break ins

nice...is it a hard process to wire it that way? in the past, i've talked to a few installers and they all say it's difficult to wire an alarm to the factory system to use the factory key.

Did you have any visible valuables in your car?

Well I didn't install myself but my installer did mention that the hardest thing to get working was the remote start on the newer push to start vehicles
