One gripe about the G

my first ever vehicle, a 1984 Volkswagen Jetta GLI coupe had factory voltmeter, oil temp and oil pressure gauges, in addition to the other routine gauges. i loved the oil gauges, very cool to monitor while driving around. if an '84 Jetta can come with these gauges standard, i think a late-model G37 can ante up a bit more.

either way, not a big deal...

I don't think that's a fair comparison. That's like saying "my 1999 Acura Integra has a bigger trunk, therefore a late mode G37 should too."
