My luck with the police has run out

Not less real, as they are both actual University disciplines.
Lets face it, there is a higher probability of obtaining a decent to well paying job with a B/S as opposed to B/A.
The B/A I referred to is actual Art, like painting, not business oriented. I know a B/A covers many disciplines and I apologize for the confusion.
I know too many family friends with kids that went to college to learn painting and other various art forms.
They graduated and found jobs not related to their field of study, and they still borrow money from their parents.
Painting is not a career path, its a hobbie.
Of course I know the 1 in a million will become famous and wealthy, but the probability is slim.
I look at education as an investment in myself. I want a high return on my investment. Spend the least amount of time in college while obtaining the highest paying job possible.
Anyway, with a decent job, why would anyone want to become a traffic cop.

My father is a retired State Police Officer of over 40 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice (as well as a Master's Degree). I have a tremendous amount of respect, not only for my father, but for all members of law enforcement. That is not to say that I am naive enough to believe that they are all on the up and up, but lumping them all into the category of "dumb revenue collectors" who only became police officers because they couldn't get a "real job" is just absurd. I think your comment is pretty ignorant.
I have two Bachelor of Arts degrees - one is in English Language and Literature and the other is in Criminal Justice. I'll use some knowledge gained from my paltry B/A degree to edit your post.

Not less real, as they are both actual University (no need for capitalization) disciplines.
Lets ("Let's") face it, there is a higher probability of obtaining a decent to well paying job with a B/S as opposed to B/A.

My house was broken in to on 2 occasions.
My family owned business was broken into numerous times I can't even recall the amount. Two of the times the business next door was broken into and they tried going through their wall which is shared between the two businesses. 1 occasion they went through the roof.
Cops never found criminals on any occasion.
I have experienced the bad in the world, have yet to find any good.

Did you go to college? If so, didn't anyone explain to you the whole B/A B/S thing? I think you might be missing out on some of the basics here...

While it sucks that you've had several B&Es and a car stolen, those are all physical things that can be replaced and suspects for crimes like that are almost never caught.

I think this is a little bit of a rude comment. I don't know where you are from, but most police officers now require a 4 year bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. It is no longer a job as it used to be, absolutely a career and a difficult one at that. Maybe some "college drop out" will be saving your a** one day...
If you can't respect the fact that they have to put on a bullet proof vest and walk out the door every day with the risk of not coming home to possibly save someone else so they CAN go home to their family, just keep your mouth shut.

because being a cop is dangerous & not worth your life.
I think the op has a right to speak if he was treated poorly/unprofessionally.
just because he is a police officer doesn't give him the right to make threats.
"if I see you next time ****"
please.
just like every other profession
you have good & bad.
