i would think it would have better gas mileage considering it has the smallest v6 in north america. also, im not a manual guy so im not sure why they want a manual in a luxury car with low hp?

Because many car lovers including those writing about cars love to drive a manual. Also, there is this concept that manual transmission gives you better performance and gas mileage. But for the current G sedan, the automatic actually gives you better gas mileage and maybe even better performance 0-60 because of its gear ratios.

They mention the lack of availability of 6MT or "even paddle shifters" as factory options. The same G37 paddle shifters should work on this car, no? Why not just order the parts and have the install done if you want?

A watered down G37, what's the purpose of this new line. Gas mileage hasn't improved much, geez Infiniti!

Same purpose as the BMW 328i; a slightly cheaper alternative to the top of the line model.

The puzzling thing is that the price difference is quite small. It would have been even more obvious if they didn't restrict the packages and options. The different is less than $3K. I think the difference between a 328i and 335i is at least $5K.

By the way, I saw an online review of the G25 in Asia and I saw front bumper sensors and DVD screens on the back of front headrests. But then it probably costs close to double the price to buy a G25 over there.

In Europe and Asia Infinitis have front and rear sonar as well as headlight light washers.
