Can't decide between Graphite Shadow and Black!
#31
I was torn between Graphite and Black.... I ended up choosing Black. Bad decision. Black looks great when clean but if your car is an everyday driver i recommend the Graphite. Black needs alot of maintenance.

Did you consider the sport package? I think the seats are better by far. Graphite Shadow was my choice only because in my opinion black makes the car look much smaller. Black will be very hot in the summer.

White cars and Black cars are the 2 standard classy colors. Everything else in between is just that, in between. Generally, black is the masculine color, darker shades are masculine as well, we know this. White is not a feminine color, but depending upon the model of car, it can be. OP, if you prefer Graphite, get Graphite because it's the right decision for you. If you don't think that black looks absolutely bad *** on this car, then it shouldn't be a color you consider. But I think there is a reason why when people say they own a black on black car and people are like "OHH, NICE!!"

I ended up getting black because the dealer didn't have a Sport graphite in stock with wood accents and all the other options I wanted. For a while there I wish I had waited but I wanted my car today, not next week.
Flash forward 8 months. I wouldn't have any color but black now. I keep it clean and garaged and think the black just looks bada$$ and "classy". Yes, it shows dust and dirt more so than lighter colors but only if you get close up and in bright light. The G looks good even in dirt!

Wash weekly? Right now we are lucky if we wash our cars once every 3 months (running off to hide now!). LOL!

I have to agree with that. Covered in debris and dirt the G is still a looker.
Not meaning to steal thread.
Its like a girl wearing cheap clothing to one in expensive clothes.
No difference to me, if she looks good the clothing won't make a difference.
I don't understand why girls spend so much money on designer stuff, because as a guy I'm not looking at the tag on that article of clothing.

Never owned a black car, nor graphite shadow, so this is a totally unbiased opinion. If not taking into consideration what some refer to as the OCD need for constant washing of a black car and all the possible heat absorption issues, etc., and based totally on personal opinion and appearance, I would go for the graphite shadow. Top three colors for me on the G sedan are white, red and graphite shadow. However, on a G all other colors look great, too. I would be proud to drive one in any of the factory colors.
BTW: What's up with the comment that silver and white is a "girl color"? I say...
