No. you just take the liner off inside your trunk and there are a few bolts that you need to remove and the chrome spoiler comes right off. then just put the new one on line it all up and put everything back together. ITS A LOT EASIER THEN YOU THINK!

I thought the same.

OP - was it an OEM or aftermarket... and was drilling an option that you instead taped???

idk i bought it from alex at 180 customs. and no drilling needed. when you unbolt the old chrome spoiler this new onje fits right there.. there is tape on it and all you have to do is use the old bolts from the chrome to screw in this one.. all holes are there already.15 min job to install

So was this an actual OEM Infiniti production spoiler? Based on other DIY threads for the 2007's through the 09's I know for sure that the drilling of five holes are required for the PROPER installation of the OEM rear lip spoiler and assumed the same holds true for the 10's & 11's? Was there an option of drilling or not drilling with the installation instructions?

Subscribed. Does the new body style G35 spoiler require drilling? I prefer that but if this one doesn't require drilling, I might want to get this one instead.
