blendmount RD mount

So, I bought a radar detector mount from blendmout for my passport 9500ix. I also bought the invisicord to directly wire it to my rearview mirror. GREAT product! Looks nice and clean, RD does NOT bounce around, and it doesnt affect the GPS or RD sensitivity. It was a bit pricey but worth it. Prior to making this purchase, I was using a bean bag mount on my dash; however, it flew off the dash a few times when taking corners quickly or under rapid acceleration. I hate suction cup mounts as they lose suction in real cold or hot weather. Just thought I'd share my review of the blendmount mount.

pics?

I mounted with suction cups right under the tint strip and haven't had any problems...concealed the power supple while I got the car tinted...

the thing I like about this display is that people cant really see that you have an RD in the car

+1 on the Blendmount.

I've been using one with my Beltronics RX65 (blue) since July and its the best RD mount I have ever owned. Its rock solid with no vibration and its looks nice and clean. It has a great range of adjustment so you can position your RD exactly where you want it.
I skipped the Invisicord and connected the power cord wires for the RD directly to the power wires for the mirror.

The mount is around 80$ and the wire is around 10$ the mount goes around rear mirror arm, a monkey could do it.

I have exactly the same setup and I love it. It is the best detector mount I have ever owned. It took me a little while to finally pull the trigger as it is pretty pricy but IMHO it is well worth it. There is also a 10% off code floating around somewhere that I used (I think it was FRIEND). The mount and cord were very easy to install and work great.

There is a thread on here somewhere with pics. I would snap one of my setup but it is in the shop getting a supercharger kit installed.

The blendmount is a MUST if you have a radar detector. It is one of the most useful things I've bought for the G (besides all my other upgrades of course )

Which type of Invisicord do we need? They list 2 options, Standard and Micro, the micro has smaller connectors to fit smaller wiring harnesses. Blendmount also charges twice as much for the Invisicord compared to their own site.
