Is it true that driver side when open is wider than passenger side? I found my hinge misaligned and comparing both side it seem driver side door open way wider than passenger side. Do i have to get an adjustment?

That's odd, I have never checked for that.
Be careful, my cousin once bought a Honda Civic, suppose to be brand new.
One month later he brought it to a mechanic shop and they noticed the hood hinge was scratched up and repainted.
He brought the car back to the dealership and found out that the car was actually used and had some body work done to it.
Luckily with MUCH HASSLE, they replaced the car with an actual new one.
The dealer probably thought it was new but it might have been a demo car, or something.
This could have been avoided if he saw the actual title, but the car was not paid off right away, it was on a plan.

thanks guys. Actually its true that driver side front is wider than passenger side. I just measured my friend's g37x and took a good look at the showroom demo in the dealership. Its strange!!

If it does open wider (I'll confirm this later), it's probably to ease entry/exit since there's a steering column in the way. The passengers don't have to deal with that.
