ipod popping noise

Hi guys, its been 3months since i have my G and one thing annoys the hella out of me is when my iPhone is connected to listen to music i have sorta popping noises to a point where i switch from USB mode to Bluetooth. I don't know if it had the issue since day one but as long as I remember when. I first bought the car, the iPod would play fine.
at first I thought it was my iPhone since I updated to 4.1 from 3.0, so i got another iPod touch with iOS 3.0 and to my suprice its doing the popping noise to a level where you don't enjoy the music anymore. Also, when pressing next for the next track, most of the time it automatically pauses so i have to manually go and press play againg from the screen for it to work.
again no issues whatsoever if played over Bluetooth.

Does anybody else have any similar issues? Any suggestions what should i do?

Thanks in advance

Sorry for the misspelled and punctuation I'm typing on my phone. I don't want to be fired with punctuation bombs lol
Thanks again

This happens to me on my 2010 G37 as well. It does get annoying, but it doesn't bug me to the point where I use Bluetooth.

There was a TSB for earlier model Gs but they for other issues, I believe.

Sometimes, I'll just replug the USB to see if it'll correct the noise.

Yep, same thing happens to my brand new 2011 G37 coupe as well. Althoug it only happens from time to time and only happens when I am using ipod. So I am not too bother with it.

I suspect it has something to do with the unstable USB connection(maybe lol)
