Climate control temp settings
Anyone else out there find the temperature settings of the climate control inaccurate?
If I set it higher than 65F,my interior feels like a hothouse.I have to keep it around 63 to be comfortable.
Anyone else notice this in the colder climates in winter?

The auto temperature control is the biggest disappointment of this car IMO. If I set it below 78 in the summer, I freeze. In the winter its a little better, but the colder it is outside the cooler I need to set the temp...usually no higher than 68 degrees, or 66 degrees if its below 20 degrees outside.

I wish the cars I owned before having kids had extra hot heated seats...knowing what I know now...I would have cranked them up!!!!

I agree with the OP, anything above 63 and I bake. I find the climate control generally weird compared to the low-tech systems on my previous cars. I don't know why it insists on turning on the AC when you have it in Auto mode, or when you switch to recycled air rather than fresh air. Or why the AC has to come on when you want to clear the front window. I guess it's something to do with humidity and defogging, but I'd prefer to have the option to turn it on and off myself.

You got it! And in the summer, I have to run it at 78-80 to keep from freezing out!

I love the climate control system in this car. Heats fast and cools fast. I set mine to 75 auto no matter the weather. I live in Miami and lately the temps have been dropping into the 30's but my g has kept me comfortable. Always the right temperature in the car. And I love how it will automatically switch from only floor to floor and dash vents once the car reaches the set temperature. No complaints as of yet
