Cheap control *****

Is it just me or does anyone else wish we had better control *****? Maybe something like the seat heater *****?

If you're talking about control ***** on the steering wheel I think there's a lot of them on there already. Also, as in quality, Infiniti has up there in fit and finish compared to others like BMW. I sat in a BMW 335i and Lexus IS350 the other day and their fit and finish and material quality on some of their buttons felt cheap.

^^^
also with the layout. I like my channel and volume on the same side. Rather than on separate sides like BMW

Referring to the ***** for the temp and radio. Something aluminum with a knurled edge would be nice.

Acura's new TL has one of the best interior designs/quality. Besides sh-awd, that's about the only that car excels at... interior craftsmanship/quality, it's got a kick *** super high quality 415 watt Acura/ELS stereo tuned by Grammy Award-winning recording engineer and producer Elliot Scheiner too, it IS the best stereo out there for under $50k in a car. My G has a nice Bose system, but it doesnt quite match the clarity of the lows and mid-range or quite have the bass of that audio system. Best build quality/design in it's class, then Lexus IS350, then G37(it's the better value, wouldnt expect it to have the nicest interior in it's class, but there's no denying it is a nice place to be).

The control ***** could be better.

However, I just rented an Altima and all the ***** look the same, but they all felt like crap... so we are getting the better Nissan stuff in our cars.

My friend has a Lexus LS460 and his Start Engine button is all peeled and cracked... WTF?

It seems that I am constantly adjusting the heater controls as they are the same as the volume. It is like every time I try to turn the volume up, I am making the car warmer. I would just like to see different controls for the AC/Heat controls.

Hmmm not really. I test drove an Audi S4 a few weeks ago. One thing I noticed very quick was the ***** felt VERY cheap compared to my 2008 X. They were cheap plastic and didnt' feel nice and firm the way the Infiniti controls do. Also the dash plastics look very cheap as well. Several people on the audi forums have complained about this very thing on a +50k car.

The only really cheap control I have noticed is the side view mirror control. Pretty cheesy. Every other control seems fine to me.
