Lease Payment Question
#16
That's a fair price if taxes are included, and there were no upfront payments of tax, tag, title, or first month. I'm a little surprised that IFS is giving that as their best price for VPP-A, though, as I didn't pay much more for the options you list + Sport, same term, and I was a normal off-the-street non-VPP customer.

I just leased a 2011 G37s 6mt Sedan today fully loaded. Putting more down to lower my pmts.. $5000 down, 39 months @ $499/month. Not paying taxes because they got some college graduate program.
This is the 3rd car I'm leasing. Leased an 2005 g35c 6mt, then 2008 m35s, and now the g37s sedan. IMO, as long as you got cash flow... leasing is the way to go for me since most of us are guys(at least me) are indecisive. When I have ~6 months left on that lease.. I have an option of starting a new lease with a different car, or paying it off.

$5k is WAYYY too much. Its not advised to put that much down in any case....but $499 a month only after $5k down...your monthly payment is too high for that kind of downpayment

Infiniti December rates
$0 down payment
Taxes, DMV fee, acquisition fee, first payment, and dealer fee due at signing
I'm not a dealer, I just bought my G37xS and I had to learn these calculations.
Also keep in mind that with the current $1000 incentive, you can get the car for $1000 below invoice. Shop, shop, shop!
2011 G37xS Sedan
Premium, Navigation, and Sport packages
36 month, 10K/year
MSRP $42675
Invoice $39195
Money factor: .00170
Residual: 65%
Purchase option: $27738.75
Depreciation: $11456.25
Basic payment: $318.23
Interest: $113.79
Total monthly payment: $432.02
This is on the high side. Remember, negotiate and then ask for the incentive.

I have an excel spreadsheet I use to calculate lease payments and I was checking it out on your numbers. However, the numbers you quoted seem too low. Either my calc is wrong or yours is.
I have MSRP of $39,195, 65% residual, and 0.0017 money factor 36 month lease
Residual $25,476.75
Depreciation (Cap Cost - Residual) $13,718.25
Interest (cap cost + resdiual) X Money fac $109.94

This is actually important to me because I am calculating (and negotiating)an Auid S4 lease at the moment.
It makes a big difference in residual naturally.

Residual is based on MSRP.
Please let me know about your deal when you get the car. The S4 is my dream car.

WOW!!!! My Audi guy is screwing me since his payments were higher than what I calculated and I used residual based on my employee negotiated price!!!! Glad I checked this. Very helpful!!!
I might still end up with a G though. haha. Thanks for the help.
