2009 G37X Rough Shifting

2009 G37X Rough Shifting
I've read several threads on here about the rough shifting on the G37. Since I've gotten mine, I've been experiencing the same issues as others with rough downshifts from 30-20mph, unnecessary hunting, transmission not allowing the car to coast much. I called the dealership because I suspect the TSB hasn't been applied to my car. The service tech was pretty honest about all of it and told me that the TSB addresses the rough down shifting, but that there are other open transmission issues and he's hoping Infiniti will do more updates to address them.
Anyone know if the 2010 and 2011 transmissions are the same as the 2009? My biggest worry is that all that rough handling of the transmission is going to lead to short life and that it will die, of course, right after the end of the warranty.

I have an 09 x as well, mine does in fact do a downshift around 20 mph but how do you drive the car? I say that because I know that when I drive sporty the car realizes how I'm driving and will start holding shifts for longer and downshift more aggresively. Try reseting the ESU, that may help. Also I asked my dealer about the TSB but said the update that was out there did not apply to mine.

the software updates for the 2010 trans are more up to date than the 2009. mine seemed to get alot better after a couple weeks of driving it. i do notice the flare that has been brought up on here quite a bit. at teh very second the trans shifts from 3rd to 4th its like the trans is anticipating a downshift instead of a upshift and it pumps the rpms with a similar feeling to the revmatching characteristic even though your not giving it more gas. it then upshifts from 3rd to 4th and proceeds to operate normal. its always between the shift in 3rd to 4th. somebody stated that it was the torque converter locking up. could be that or could be software related to the revmatching .

i think if you have automatic transmission on a car without revmatching it probably is not programmed to downshift while braking since day in and day out this would eventually reduce the life of the transmission.
