Just make sure they only do those two things, and the cost should be << $100.

DONT GO TO THE DEALER! Just do it yourself! They are not going to do anything to the car.

Mine was just under $160 with ester oil. Ester oil is 11.99 per quart. I could have substituted with other oil and save some money.

Yes, you can save money by going elsewhere or doing it yourself.

You know that is not true. They're are doing something to the car. Just that it's expensive.

My 7500 was cheap - like 150 or so; the 15000 is around 400 on average. I added and alignment and the bill was close to 500. But I wanted the full service by infinit with inspections, etc. for peace of mind and warranty issues.

why would anyone go to a dealer to do the preventative maintenance? unless money is not a concern (which would make this thread title obselete) then this sort of PM service is best handled by an independent shop that specializes in imports and has extensive experience with Nissan products.

dealers are for warranty repairs.

That's kinda of like saying why buy bottled milk, when you can get condensed milk and dilute and drink to save money.

I spent $130 for a tire rotation (no balancing) plus a mineral oil change at 7500 miles. That was the last time my car visited the Infiniti dealership for regular maintenance. Read the maintenance requirements and you'll find just about any decent shop completes the normal required check ups as part of an oil change. For the 15,000 mile check up, I changed the cabin air filter myself...for about $17. The dealership wanted $100 for this service. It took me ten minutes.
