Sedan/Coupe sound difference
Hi guys,
Just curious is there any simple mod to do to the car without changing the actual excaust to get it to sound like the coupe? That is the only regret I have of not getting the coupe is the way it sounds. I love that rumble you hear when a coupe drives by, that low deep hum. Is there any way to imitate this sound with our sedans? Also why didn't they toss it on the sedans? I notice even the FX has it. The only time I remotely notice it is...when I start my car...

They're appealing to different demographics. Most people who are buying the sedan and looking at it as luxury first and sportiness second. The coupe is the opposite. The coupe has the louder exhaust as tha'ts what'll appeal to the majority of it's buyers. The sedan doesn't as it's buyers want a quieter ride.
That's also why the IPL Coupe was made first and not an IPL Sedan (although it'll probably come later).
You could always put on a cat back system to get a throatier exhaust note, but that's probably more work and money than you wanted.
