Don't do it!! It's a beautiful, balanced design. You bought a G sedan because it has classic, elegant lines. Please don't treat it like like a Honda Prelude!!!

This.

It is a beautiful car as it came. It's understood that guys like to tinker though and just can't help it. I did some electrical mods but nothing to change the appearance other than some LED lights for white instead of yellowish light.

Modding a car should be done per each individual person's tastes. It's the diversification of this forum that I enjoy most. Some of you love the car just as it comes from the factory and I think that's great! I personally like every bit of the factory look of our G, EXCEPT the rear. So much so that I initially looked at other makes of similar level cars because the rear of the G appeared so bland to me. Then I happened upon one with the OEM rear lip and that made all the difference to me. We purchased our car knowing the first mod would be the rear lip.

Now granted we do have the sport model and like the mix of sport and luxury combined. If we wanted luxury only we probably would have purchased an M, and of course not added a spoiler of any kind. I agree with the Honda Prelude comment, but hey, overly modded cars only make our non modded or lesser modded cars look even better in our eyes. While at the Riverside Infiniti Meet last month I saw some cars that were so heavily modded that there was little left to identify them as G's. Some looked really good for show, but weren't "daily driver" practical. I draw the line at the spoiler wings sitting five feet off the rear, but bottom line is it's all about what you're into.

So, for the original poster, I say have a good look at a car with the spoiler, preferably in your color, then make the decision as to which look you prefer. If you want a little splash of sportiness, go for it. If not and the luxury look is more your thing, leave it as it is...it's a helluva car either way!

Wheels for me, the oem Goodyear RSA's are such a poor tire for this car that they kept screaming "change me" every time I got in it. The oem wheels aren't great looking either so it was a no-brainer for me

No other mods on my list.

BTW, for anyone w/ stock 17s reading this, get 19s or 20s w/ good tires and you won't believe how much better your car will connect to the road, a whole different feel. Those damn Goodyears belong on a 4 cyl Camry
