My gf just leased a 2010 Sentra, and the headlights are really crappy and offer very little light. I want to improve them.
Those are regular headlights and not HIDs, and I want the light to be brighter for better visibility. Should I just swap out the bulbs for a "hyper white" set, or go all the way with the kit? Would there be a huge difference in terms of brightness between the hyper whites and the hid kit? And very important, will the HID kit void her warranty?
Again, sorry for being off topic.

A good quality HID kit is going to be far superior in terms of light output (brightness) than even the best halogen bulbs.
As far a voiding the warranty is concerned, under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act the dealership could deny a claim for repairs covered under the vehicle’s warranty only if they could prove that your mod directly caused the problem that you are requesting repairs for.

in this case, i would say yes, if you have problems with your headlights, they will not warranty your aftermarket HIDs. but as far as light output, all those so called "hyper white" or "plasma" or "xenon" filled halogen bulbs are all crap. those will actually give you less light compared to your stocks.

KP Technologies makes a control module for independent fogs.
KP Technologies
It would probably work in the G37 too if you could figure out the correct wiring.

Thanks..I meant to say KP not KT. Anyway, if you go to the KP website and select 2010-> Infiniti -> G37 Sedan...it shows a foglight module kit ITEM#MX20 for $49.00. I may purchase that kit.
Side note: I went to a thread where "use2vw" stated he bought a relay module for $25 to control his fogs. I would like to see if he chimes in on where he bought his module from.

Yeah my set up shines yellow output, but from head on the light is more white...(better in my opinion cause attracts less wrong attention)...ALSO, I knew that the KP switch is out there, but I just went with a separate switch and relay to have total independant control of my fogs. $24 + 30mins install and wah-lah....good enough for me since I gotz to return her in 33 mos.
