I chose the Stillen because it's deep and throaty when accelerating, but quiets down when cruising. The sound is far better than the stock exhaust. I don't want a lot of racket when cruising along at a steady speed, but I enjoy a noticable growl when accelerating. It's not loud, obnoxious, annoying, and juvenile as some are.
Stillen claims on their website to get 18 additional hp for the 370z which is very similar to the G37 coupe.

But even with that, I still felt it was a bit too tame. That's why I went with the Stillen Catback which sounded quite good on the videos posted on youtube.
I bought it from a seller on EBAY about 4 months ago for $950 shipped. His asking price was about $200 more, but he was taking offers.
It was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. I had it installed the day after I received it and I'm still lovin' it.
Between that and the Stillen Gen 2 intake system I installed I believe I should be getting somewhere in the neighborhood of 350hp.

The OP wants to know what CATBACK others chose for better sound and performance. He also does not mention a price range.

FI, Looks great, had the most refined sound with no rasp at all (invidia hadnt released their gemini at the time) i heard bad things about stillen... And i got a deal on it that i couldnt refuse...

true^^^ I can't disagree with you there. The FI, looks great and has an impressive sound, with a large price tag to go with it. Invidia was also impressive for the sound and most importantly a low price tag to go with it, they were my second choice. There are too many mixed reviews of Stillen, some hate it and some love it, IMO I don't need the risk to invest in something and then sell it in 2 weeks because I am not happy with it. For me the winner was ARK, pricing was justifiable, sound quality is on target with what I want to accomplish. If I get any extra attention, that is alright with me, I like it.
