Yeah, I am really liking that color. I think the lighting changes everything.. I may have changed my mind and go with the Blue Slate as opposed to Black..

The lighting really does change the color. I love it. I almost got black, and I'm glad I didn't. As far as keeping it clean though, it's just as hard to keep clean as black is. I would have got black if they offered a nice deep metallic black, but the OB just didn't do it for me.

now that i'm looking at the pic it does look a little orage peelish. I think it's more the camera/lens and lighting. Nikon D90 with a Sigma 28-300 f3.5 i had it zoomed in pretty tight with tangent light. I'm very happy with the color. Wife picked it out and wouldn't have anything else.

As for the wheels...... I was originally going for the journey/nav/premium and is sold as we were pulling into the stealership. So the extra 1600 went to the same one + the sport package. I'm happy with the sport too....so there when my wheel budget. I decided to spend the money on the invidia Q300, injen SRI, BB grounding wires, weathertech liners etc.....and for the wheels, the sport sedan 18's are growing on me...I think it's the 14 inch discs/akebonos staring back at me (like a hot chick in an ugly dress....you just have to use your imagination). FYI the wheels on my daily drive civic are the same size as the discs on the G.

I too have the blue slate...and love the color. And while the picture exaggerates the amount of orange peel in the paint, I suspect its not all an optical illusion. The amount of orange peel on my new G is dissappointing. I noticed it when taking delivery....and was surprised. Its particularly pronouced on the sides of the car. An alternative color for me was the black...and the two new black cars I looked at did not have the orange peel. Such is life. It looks like short cuts were taken in the paint process....no wet sanding of the sides.
