Thanks for all the input. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one this happens to. I started switching my keys to my left pocket and phone in right. Hopefully this helps, it just feels really weird.

I wish Infiniti would solve the problem all together and give me a freakin' key and key hole. There ya go, no more lost keys. Right now my keys either end up in the door pocket, the cup holder or passenger seat. I'm always looking for my damn keys when I go to get out of my car...always. Push button start is one gimmick I wish would go away.

i think you might be the only person that dislikes the pushbutton....its SO convienient

regardless.......there is a keyhole.....on the left side of the steering wheel....a little lower than the trunk release....theres a nice slot for you to stick ur key in.

i usually keep my key in the space of the extended thigh support......no losing, no moving around

I see an added step, rather than added convienence. Unless you like keeping you keys in your pocket, while driving and enjoy getting stabbed in the leg with keys. If your a woman, with a purse, ok, then it makes sense.

I have a thin black silicone rubber cover over my fob... it's a bit sticky so the keys don't fall out of my pocket and the keys are a bit recessed so my key is less likely to "pocket dial" if they press against something in my pocket.

now if you could make one small enough to fit in the wallet (perhaps credit card size) that would be the ticket
