06 M to 08 G to 2010 G.

I really like the driving dynamics of the Infinitis and have been pretty darn happy with the reliability. Went from the M to the G when the economy started to hit the skids. Decided that we didn't need the extra room and all of the tech goodies on the M were moved to the G.

Honestly, I was pretty bummed at first since I loved my M but it was upside down on the lease to buy it so I had to turn it in. I took one test drive in the G and fell in love. The handling and speed are just awesome! Definitely turned my frown upside down.

Leased my 08 for 24 months knowing the new M would be out by then and my plan was to hop back into the 2011 M once it came out, coinciding with my lease end.

Lease ended, I sat in the new M, liked it a lot but ended up with the 2010 G anyway. It's just a great car and we don't need the extra space of the M. Without that need, why give up the driving dynamics? Nice upgrades in the M, different, more luxurious feel but not worth the extra $$ to me anymore.

Love my G and glad I made the decision to come back!!

04 coupe
06 coupe
08 coupe (lease tranferred due to overly excessive mileage)
08 sedan (made a pretty penny on sale)
10 sedan (ridiculous lease deal from June)

Like many of the posters here, I always shop around but end up back with the G. Can't beat the overall value, performance, service, warranty, and satisfaction.

Hoping to get the wife a G25x next year when her lease is up...

Just as I suspected....... I am not alone. And for pretty much the same reasons. I too am looking fwd to the 2012!

@Lords - Too funny. Your current G, with the TSW's..... I have the same wheels on my 08 (except they are 20") and my 2010 will be graphite. So now I know what it will look like if I keep them. Are your wheels hyper black too?

Thanks all for the replies. Infiniti for life! (Or until I hit the lottery.......and I don't even play the lottery)

Yep, hyper black

I love 'em. I kinda wish I got 20's, but New England winters won the battle. Any pics of your 08?

Fml!!!

(Duplicate posted on main page.... sorry)

I'm so screwed! So let the venting begin. My wife sure dosn't want to hear about it.

Took delivery of my 3rd G sedan (2010 Jrny/prem/sport/navi-GS/Graphite), made a weekend getaway out of it. Drove from south GA to Hilton Head Island, SC - got hooked up in a resort hotel for the fam and everything.

As soon as I got home, started shopping for new rubber to put on the "old" TSW Mondello 20's that I pulled off the '08. Asked all the wheel/tire shops to be sure of fitment.... "No problem - same bolt pattern and offset (40), your good to go!" Great! So i got a pretty sic deal on a set of Nitto NT555 ZR 245/35/20's. Had them before, so i felt pretty confident that they were the best bang for the buck to get me through the next 3 lease years (maybe).

OK. Cut to local wheel/tire shop. New rubber mounted on old set of rims, ready to mount on car..... I start to sweat when the tard with the air gun starts to cram my wheels (wich btw are Hyper black and look GREAT w/ the Graphite Shadow) up against my "big break kit" that apparently is larger than the '08 model. I guess I didnt really notice how much larger the calipers are on the '10 model.... that is until he scars it all up. "WAIT dumass! It aint fittin' right" I tell him in southern drawl.... cuz like I said I'm in south Georgia.

We try spacers, different lug nuts, nothing can give us clearance and enough bite on the lugs to meet "safety" blah blah blah! I call Infiniti, TSW, Discount Tire, Tirebuyer who (might) find it in their heart to refund me my $567, another local wheel expert shop..... same answer.... FML! ALL The fitment guides told me i was good with the 40 offset..... They were wrong!

They do say I can get a spacer kit that will probably offset my wheels so far out that I would be better suited driving at 88mph back to 1992, and have my luxo sedan look like a roller skate!!! (Full disclosure... I had an '87 Prelude with Deep Dish Chrome Hammers, In 19 Freakin' 92)!! But that was then, and that was a Honda.

So Long story short (wait, too late for that) It looks like I have a set of 20" Hyper Black TSW Mondello's for sale and am looking for something to fit over those big *** breaks on my Journey Sport Sedan!!

Any Body? Thanks for letting me vent! I feel better, This was cathardic.

Seriously tho, these wheels must go..... lets talk.

want to upgrade Lords47?

You can still get those 20's if you want. I'm guessing you don't have the same offset. What is yours?

It's the same offset. I decided on 19's for two reasons: a) budget. I had a budget I really wanted to stick to, and b) I wanted something that could get me through the winter. Even though I still have my stock 18's, I wanted the option of being able to use this setup in the winter.

I'm definately happy with my choice, and the wheels. I think if I dropped her, it would look even better

Nope. Just the wheels and the hubcentric rings.
