Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust installed ...

So I just had the Tanabe Medallion Exhaust installed on my 2010 g37s sedan and I am loving it. It definately has a deeper tone when idleing... and a nice grumble while cruising from 0-40 MPH. When you open it up at WOT it is really aggressive sounding. At highwat cruising speeds though you can not hear it at all, just like stock nice though... also looks very impressive...Still debating though wether or not this is loud enough for me... we shall see... I am gonna prob give it a few months to see if I need to get something louder like HFC... Also wanted to give a shout out to Lou@amplified Motorsport top notch service and unbelievably quick shipping and a sick deal...

Pics to follow...

Nice. Only thing that bugs me about my Tanabes is how loud it is while going up a hill. I dunno, maybe I'm just starting to grow out of mine haha. Still love it though.

After a couple weeks, the Tanabes do settle in. I think it's a great sound for the G sedan. Once it settles in, you barely notice it. Not sure if that's due to becoming accustomed to the sound or because it actually becomes quieter. Probably a little of both. I added HFCs to my Tananbes. Definitely louder.

I bought Tanabe Meds used from a member on this site, and I wanted to know if there are any leak issues with the install? I'm wondering if there should be any special extra gaskets where the exhausts join between stock and Tanab? Mine didn't come with anything and i"m using that little ring that was on the stock exhaust. ***Now I get a little "hiss" sound coming from underneath - not quite sure if "Hiss" is coming from Tanab joint, or somewhere prior at one of the stock joints up to the cats. Other than the Tanab axle backs - I'm all stock forward. ARE stock connections delicate? I did have to muscle some things around in order to install the Tanab - hope I didn't mess something else up..

Not trying to steal OP's thread, but I put Tanabe's on my G a few weeks ago.. For grins, I took a pic while one of the mufflers was swapped for a side-by-side comparison...

if you go on YouTube there are quite a few videos. The exhaust sounds absolutely incredible. I was set of the fast intentions exhaust, but may have just changed my mind.
