Bluetooth Cell Phone Problem

Do you guys have a bluetooth problem where sometimes the bluetooth can locate your phone and sometimes it doesn't?

If I turn my phone off and back on again, usually this solves the problem and the car bluetooth registers the phone. But doing this every time it doesn't work, is annoying. Anyone else experience this and any solutions? Thanks!!

Maybe it's time to get a new phone...

Never had a problem with the car, but sometimes the phone acts up (Blackberry Tour).

I think the real problem is making more than one thread with the EXACT same thing in both threads

It happens to mine sometimes, too. I found that pressing the phone button on the steering wheel usually solves the problem -- it will search and connect to the phone. No need to turn your phone off and back on again. Try it next time.

Happens to me as well, and not just with the G. My previous S4 and my wife's current Lexus both exhibit the same problem. In all cases we're using iPhones. I never had this issue with my Treo. I'm not sure if it still happens with iOS 4 since that seems to have fixed contact list sync with the G, though. Time will tell...

I've had the 2G iPhone (the original one) and now the iPhone 4 and never had a bluetooth problem once. I always leave bluetooth on (on the phone) and whenever the car starts up it connects right away and never give it a second thought

I have a Samsung Moment (which I absolutely hate BTW!). If at some point I have had the phone turned off and then I turn it back on before I get into my car, I have noticed that sometimes it won't establish a Bluetooth connection with the car unless I make my phone "discoverable" for a Bluetooth device.

It's the phone not the BT. Phones, like computers, sometimes need to be re-booted by removing the battery.
