It is under the window on the rear door right in the middle.

Looks like they hated the emblem. Might as well throw an ///M-blem on there...

No, but seriously OP, I'm sorry for your loss. Take it a body shop that you know does some quality work. It won't be ridiculously expensive, but it won't be cheap. If you want to do it right, you could repaint the entire door, but eh...who has the money to throw away these days? Sand down, repaint, blend. Hm...I'd say under 1k (high). Good lucks sir! It could have been WAY worse...

Darn it!!! That looks bad man. I am sorry for that. I believe people are always jealous when you have a nice car and keep it clean. I guess the dealership would charge anything from 5-8 Benjamins to fix that. The car looks very new, too.

Lol. No, man. They are cool. But maybe someone that doesn't like them? We waited the next night together hoping that the criminals have the tendency to return to the crime scene, but noone whowed up!

I don't know any good body shops in North Jersey. If somebody knows, I'd appreciate the info

this is a clear sign of gang work. They were tagging their set to show the new guy in town who territory it is.

Sorry to see this happen to your car though.

Ugh. That's awful. It's at the right height where it looks like they stood with their back to the car and scratched it with their hand, either down by their side or behind their butt.

I think it's already been clearly explained above. I'm no good interpreting that gang graffiti BS but those marks are definitely not random.

damn that sucks.. not exactly a cheap fix either. just know that some body shops are going to say the rear quarter panel and front door are going to have to be blended. just go to a reputable shop and you will be fine.

That doesn't look great, but could've been worse. Should not cost more than $700.
But look at the bright side, now you have an excuse to tell your wife to not visit the in-laws

Paint doctor can fix that. I'd say around $200.
