eh it's still under warranty. don't worry about it...

but I end up using it all the time... I set it to 75 and call pretty much never turn it off.

Jeez.... If you're worried just turn it off then.

I've used Auto systems for years and never had a problem. As noted, the computers decide when to turn the compressor on.

I missed that in the manual, find that sort of odd... in Dallas it's often very humid and muggy, and when it's 75 degrees out I have to set the thing to 70-72 just to get the air moving. I will typically move it up after 5 minutes, though.

As you know, the climate control in the G has a lot to be desired. I am often fiddling with the temp, other auto cars I've had I just set the temp once and go. But yes, I do leave it in Auto mode most all the time.

I think they're made much better these days. I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't had a compressor problem since my '86 Chevy Celebrity!
